Eric focuses on structuring and negotiating technology and media licensing agreements, sales and business development contracts, software-as-service agreements, strategic alliances, advertising and brand license agreements, consulting and professional services agreements, web service and affiliate program arrangements, and other commercial contracts.  Eric advises clients on internet and e-commerce issues, privacy and data security, open source licensing, consumer law, and trademark and trade secret protection.

Before joining CCS, Eric worked as Senior Corporate Counsel for New Technologies at Amazon.com and as a transactional attorney at Preston Gates & Ellis (now K&L Gates) in Seattle.  Previously, Eric worked extensively with venture-backed emerging companies at the Menlo Park law firm Gunderson Dettmer, and as Director of Business Development at Cymerc, Inc. in San Francisco.
